Three Counties Academy Trust has sponsor school status and is open to discussions from schools or trusts looking to collaborate, whether that be formally as a trust school, as an Associate school looking to see if full membership is mutually beneficial or in informal collaborative structures to develop the parties jointly.
If you represent a school and would like to discuss further whether membership of Three Counties Academy Trust may be an option you want to explore please get in touch and we will be happy to facilitate a without obligation initial discussion.
If you would like to discuss the possibility of Associate membership, again contact the trust and we will be happy to look at the potential options moving forward.
Prospective members should be aware that with our current member schools we employ a GAG Pooling mechanism for funding and operate with Heads of School. This does not restrict us from other methodologies for new entrant schools so please do be clear about what your requirements would be. Additionally, we currently operate a cross primary joint Local Governing Body and are happy to discuss amalgamation with Local Governing Bodies or the retention of your own Governing Body as a Local Governing Body upon joining.
We have a history of improvement for schools where this has been mandated by OFSTED and should your school be in a category, we are more than happy to discuss if Three Counties Academy Trust could be the collaboration you are looking for, our lead school is Queen Elizabeth High School, which has sponsor school status.
As a rural trust, we have a very good insight into what makes small rural schools work, the challenges they face what opportunities may be present for them. Our schools retain their individuality and the long and rich history they have is both respected and celebrated.
